Branded Summary #1

Hello branded readers (Matt M., Qavi, Jeffrey, Shahad, Aaisha, Amrita)
I thought the we are having a very good dicussen and I hope our next one is good too!!

Well Matt started off saying that he thought that maybe they are 16 or 17 and they are aware of the world and he thinks that they are a legal age to drive and thinks that they are not in elementary school because most kids very aware of the world.
Then Jeffery secondly said that he doesn't agree with Matt and thinks that it might be Julia's mom's or dad's car .
Then Shahad said that maybe they aren't old enough to drive so maybe there between the age
of 15-18 and he said that he agrees with Jeffery and Matt.
Finally, I ended saying that I disagree with Matt and how I think they are in grade.8 or grade.9 and how they are mostly focused on getting rid of uniforms and not really focusing on things going on around the world and how maybe Julia has a brother or sister that we haven't been introduced to yet in the book.

Hello Bloggers:)
In this blog we had to pick between 4 charity's and I picked
http://www.oxfam.ca/.
We had a few questions to answer and the first question was why did you choose this organization and why is because it gives more options and it had 14 other organizations working together in 99 other countries and they believe that "Respect for human rights will help lift people of poverty .

We had to but ethical gift with the $100 Ms.Crosbie gave us. (theoretically).

Another question was what were the gift we chose why we chose them and how much were they?
The first gift I chose was a hygiene kit the price was $22 . The reason I chose this was because everybody should have chance to have hygiene even if they are poor.
Another gift I have bought was to put 8 gifts in a school and the reason why I chose this because kids should be able to read and write because kids our age that live in poor barely know how to read or write and I think that they should have chance to learn too and this package was $22.
My 3rd gift I am giving is a 9 bags of seeds to plant fruits and vegetables and bushes and they can learn how to garden for in the future. This gift costs $30.

My 4th and 5th are from http://plancanada.ca/.the first gift is a soft baby blanket and the reason why I chose this gift is because when a baby is born it should be held with a soft and warm blanket and this gift was $10. The other gift from plan Canada a Mango tree and reason why I chose this gift is because it will provide juice from the mango and food and it will be healthy for them and it costs $13.

I disturbed my 100 dollars by looking at all the gifts and picking which ones would be useful and lasting the longest.

The Poem :D

This week my teacher Ms.Crosbie gave us a poem about "Seeking the Truth" by Emily Dickinson and
it was good and we were told to write a jounal response but I don;t really understand it but I will do the best I can.

I think what the poem is tryign to say is speek the truth if there is something wrong because
somepeople don't speek the truth and then end getting hurt or something bad happens.

So if any of you people who are reading my blog please speek the truth.

Instrument Study :D

This year I am playing the Trombone. The Trombone is part of the Brass family. There is 6 parts to the Instruments and those are the Bell, Mouthpiece, Slide, Bracey Strut, and the Water key.

The Trombone uses the Bass Clef. The Trombone was invented in the 15th century. The Trombone was invented by the Flemish makers in 1490.This instrument does a high pitch and low pitch. What you do to assemble it is you take it out of the case and hold it at the middle and then the slide goes on. You put it in special intrument cleaner.

The Golden Rule :D

This week my teacher gave us a sheet about the 'The Golen Rule' and how it's about
if you wanna be treated nicely then treat others nicely. We had to pick 5 questions to answer.

1)What is the message of the golden rule?
The message of the golden rule is that if you wanna be treated nicely then treat others nicely but if your not being nice to other people then don't exept to be treated nicely by
that person.

2)How can you describe the golden rule in your own words?
I would describe it as saying dont treat others mean if you wanna be
treated nicely.

3)Which expression do you like the best and why?
I would have to say that the Christianity one is my faverite because it
puts out a really good message.

4)Why is it that sometimes that people dont follow the golden rule?
I thought that maybe its because some people are not treated very nicely
so they don't treat other people nicely.

5)What would things be like if everybody followed the golden rule?
I would be the same because there would no problems it would just
be nice world and at points it would be nice but it just wouldn't be the same.
